The SIB “normally” meets on the third Sunday of each month (except July and August) at 1:30 to 4:00 p.m. in the basement meeting room (Church Hall) in Faith Lutheran Church on 31 Agar Drive (just off Niagara Street) in St. Catharines, Ontario.

At each meeting we try to have a workshop or seminar and an “around-the-table” discussion of models in-progress or finished for display. New products and techniques are also considered. Occasionally, we have a contest (nothing too serious) and, at most meetings, there is a raffle for donated kits or Gift Certificates. The overall objective is to learn something new and, at the same time, have a bit of fun.

In the SIB, the annual dues as of 2017 are $25 but your first meeting is FREE!!!. Membership is not limited…our members have ranged in age from 18 years to 80!! The oldest member of the group is probably the most productive, although everyone always has “something” in progress. Members are encouraged to bring in their latest “project(s)”…finished or not…and any questions or problems that might be solved by “group discussion”.
