1/48 RCAF 442 Sqn Mustang IVs

IPMS Canada has released another 1/48 retail decal sheet.  Getting attention this time are the colourful Mustang IVs (P-51D/K) of 442 Squadron RCAF, right at the end of WWII.

The sheet is printed by Microscale, and includes resin reproductions of the the unique louvres which were affixed over the Mustang's perforated cowl breather panels.  To our knowledge this modelling option will become available for the first time ever from IPMS Canada with the release of this decal sheet. They have been mastered by Ottawa modeller Rob Blum, and produced by our own Sid Arnold (of Armoured Brigade Models).

Be advised that this sheet has been printed in a limited edition of 500 copies, so delay ordering at your own peril! The price for this item is a two-tiered structure (once again discounted to IPMS Canada members, and a much higher price for non-members).
