Mike Belcher's latest set of decals are certainly timely with the recent releases of new T-33s in 1/72 scale (Sword) and
1/32 scale (Czech Model).
The sheets are printed by Micro Scale and are in perfect registration except the silver surround on the 1/72 scale flag.
Another nice thing about this release is that no layering is required to complete any of the markings. Both the 1/72 and 1/48 scale sheets have enough national markings to complete four aircraft and stencils for one.
The 1/32 scale sheet offers national markings for three aircraft, (no Navy White Ensign though), and enough stencils for two. In addition, there are enough numbers and letters to allow any unit to be modelled from the early years from all three scales.
Belcher Decals offers all the operational schemes of the Canadair Silver Star from initial service until the introduction of the low visibility greys around 1989.
The variety of finishes includes variation of natural metal with either gloss red or Day-Glo high visibility patches.
In addition, there are five different camouflage schemes for aircraft based in Europe.
NATO Dark Green/Dark Grey/PRU Blue (4, 6);
overall green (12);
Green/Grey/Light Grey (13);
and wraparound Green/Grey (14)
Depending on the scale, the following Silver Stars are offered:
