Spitfire XIVs of 402 Sqn on the Continent in 1945. The date on this photo is not known. The first airplane in the shot is 'JEFF', flown by W/Comd Geoffery Northcott; this is a fairly well-known aircraft. What is very interesting in this shot is AE*K, sporting what appears to be a white spinner and rudder. The markings date this shot as after January 1945, but nothing else is known about this aircraft. Anyone with information is strongly invited to contact Steve Sauvé
