Are you interested in a challenging and rewarding volunteer position with IPMS Canada?Guys,
With me also doing the RT Editor job, there’s no way I can maintain the webpage’s currency (such as it is) on my own, and certainly there’s no way I can put more time into developing and running the new stuff that we’d like to see, like a discussion forum area for the members, and a more developed Information Resources area. Something has to give - ideally, I need someone else to take on the job as the main Webmaster so I can focus my time on RT.
Until we find the right guy(s) to take over, what I did was ask the Exec members detailed below to take ownership of ‘their’ pages listed under their names. This means that they:
• keep track of the page and sub-pages content
• decide if something needs to be updated or changed
• write it up or indicate whatever needs to be done
• send it to the Webmaster for implementationI am not going to be able to put much time, if any, into developing the new IPMS Canada webpage areas I mentioned above. They will pretty much stay on the back burner until someone comes forward to take care of them. It just ain’t gonna be me.
You don’t need to live in Ottawa to be the Webmaster. Between e-mail and new-fangled Internet things like Skype, we can maintain a decent level of contact, even at a distance. I need some help, and for the good of the membership and myself, I hope to hear from some of you folks out there who have some skills, and particulatly the interest and enthusiasm to pitch in and help out.

Employment Tenure: FlexibleWho Can Apply: Any IPMS Canada member in good standing. Preference will be given to Canadian citizens (mainly for the Canadian English spelling), but we’re really not too choosy about where you come from.
Education/Experience
An acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience, with at least some hands-on time working with webpages.You must also be willing to oversee, coordinate, and verify publication quality of submissions from various contributors
