- kit cowl flaps replaced with Eduard photo-etched cowl flaps
- cowl flap actuating linkage made from fine wire
- metal screening added to supercharger intake and oil cooler and radiator inlets
- fuselage modified to correct the appearance of the ventral bulge/radiator outlet area
- fuel cap access ports drilled out of rear canopy
- rear lift points drilled out
Wings
- cockpit fresh air vents drilled out
- wing gun barrels drilled out
- pitot tube drilled out
- kit flaps replaced with Eduard photo-etched units
- aileron control cables and flap actuating linkage added to flap area
- landing light installed on underside of wing using an MV Products lens
- shell ejection ports opened
- wing scribed to add gun panels
- tail planes were scribed
Landing Gear
- photo-etched tow rings added to landing gear
- canvas dust boot added to tail wheel
- photo-etched detail added to landing gear doors
Paint and Decals
- airframe painted with Xtracolor X133 Neutral Grey and multiple combinations of Xtracolor X112 Olive Drab and X113 Faded Olive Drab
- all markings are kit decals
- aircraft weathered with chalk pastels
