- radio compartment access panel filled in
- fuselage gun panels filled in
- kit exhaust pipes replaced with new pieces to more correctly represent a Type 6
- engine cowl shutters made from sheet styrene
- engine cowl modified to correctly represent a Type 6
Landing Gear
- kit wheels replaced with True Details resin wheels
- main landing gear doors scratch built from sheet and strip styrene
- secondary landing gear doors thinned to a more scale appearance
- reinforcing rib added to wheel wells
Wings
- wing gun shell ejection ports opened
- pitot tube replaced with hypodermic needle
- kit supplied wing guns replaced with hypodermic needles
Paint and Decals
- airframe painted with Xtracolor X116 Green FS14102, X127 Blue FS15414, X103 Insignia Red FS11136, X12 Night Black BS642, X106 Insignia Yellow FS13538 and X242 Topside Purple
- all decals are from HobbyCraft kit
- aircraft weathered with chalk pastels
